About the role
We seek a meticulous and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to effectively managing key accounts, particularly aircrews who frequently stay at our hotel. Verify and issue tax invoices
in a timely and accurate manner. Reconcile and apply supplier and credit card payments
to ensure accurate record-keeping. Issue monthly statements
and manage credit control to minimize outstanding balances. Respond to telephone enquiries
related to accounts and resolve any queries promptly. Assist in managing the accounts inbox , ensuring all emails are responded to efficiently. Reconcile daily banking
to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. Perform other ad-hoc duties
as required to support the finance team.
Skills & Experience
Relevant finance experience
in a hotel, hospitality, retail, or similar fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Opera PMS
or similar property management systems is highly advantageous. Strong communication skills
for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organisational and time management abilities , with the capability to juggle multiple tasks. High attention to detail
and strong problem-solving abilities to ensure accuracy and resolve issues efficiently. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
for data analysis and reporting purposes. Positive attitude
with a focus on continuous learning and development. Ability to work under pressure , prioritise tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
