About therole Viterra is seeking an AccountsReceivable Officer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.Reporting to the Transactional Services Manager, the primaryresponsibility of the role is to ensure timely and accurateprocessing of payments and the timely collection of debtors. Therole also provides customer service to both internal and externalcustomers.
Duties Complete month endrequirements and reports within finance timelines, providingmanagement with professional notations Maintain compliance withbilling system user standards Review customer accounts andrecommend adjustments to credit limits Reconcile and close of thedebtor ledger within month end timelines Ensure daily completion ofbanking as per the Credit Policy; Generate and distributeweekly and daily reports to relevant parties Prepare management reportsand update procedures Advise business units onactions for delinquent debtors and agree a course ofaction Promptly contact delinquentcustomers for payment or negotiate payment plans Assist with financial systemupdates Aboutyou Qualifications and/ordemonstrated skills and experience in an Accounts Receivable /Credit Role Strong attention todetail Previous experience with SAPpreferred Excellent interpersonal,communication and organisational skills Contribute in a teamenvironment through developing positive workingrelationships Ability to prioritise tasks,use knowledge and initiative to problem solvepromptly As well as providing an empoweringculture, Viterra promotes a range of employee benefitsincluding:
