About the role In your role as an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for the accounts receivable function across three hotels within our portfolio. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. Specifically, your role will involve:
Proactively manage outstanding accounts by following up with debtors, accurately allocating payments in our property management system, and resolving discrepancies, refunds, and short payments.Ensure timely completion of key tasks impacting collections and address customer service issues effectively.Coordinate and lead monthly credit meetings for all hotels, including preparation, participation, and minute-taking, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up on action items.Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, support month-end activities, and prepare credit and OTC reports to meet deadlines.Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.Prepare and submit monthly KPI statistics, maintain administrative records in DocMatrix, and handle ad-hoc requests to support smooth finance operations.What are we looking for? Previous experience in a Finance role and specifically commercial collections will be an added advantage.Experience working in the Hotel or Hospitality Industry is an advantage.Proficiency, at an intermediate to advanced level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft programs (Excel and Word).Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Ability to be flexible with working days during month end, quarter end and year end.What will it be like to work for Hilton?
