As a successful Australian owned business that is a market leading product distributor and solutions provider who has been in operation for over 20 years, we are excited to hire an Accounts Receivable (AR) Officer to join our growing Finance team. 
This is an exciting new challenge where you can bring your AR experience into a collaborative team, working closely with our Accounts Payable Manager, Sales and Customer Service teams in a fast paced, highly dynamic role. You'll be encouraged to share your ideas to help drive efficiency, improve process and ultimately to better support our growing global customers.  
Role and responsibilities If variety is what you seek, then you're looking at the right role! It's definitely not just about the number of accounts or ledger value, but the complexities and differences within them. As our Accounts Receivable Officer, this role will see you:
develop and monitor accounts including credit limits, payments and claims.maintain a clean ledger, following up on claims and overdue accounts.reconciliation of all accounts to maintain up to date ledgers and figures.processing of claims/credits assigned to the department.attend regular internal meetings with sales teams to ensure accounts are accurate and to the sales targets.develop and foster great customer relationships. The ideal candidate Our ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Officer role will demonstrate: 5+ years' experience in a dynamic Accounts Receivable role ideally with a product-based company, reconciling payments to invoices with 1000's of product lines. proactively managing AR with national or international customers. success in reducing outstanding debt and managing bank payment reconciliation in a role with 100's of weekly payments.an outgoing, friendly personality to easily build rapport with customers and multiple internal teams.the ability to thrive in high volume and fast-paced environment, with great attention to detail and accuracy.demonstrating proactive planning, effectively communicating with your team and prioritising. 
 The Offer

Though every company may say this; this is not your everyday AR role! We have hundreds of customers across multiple geographies, and various account types e.g. product billing, project billing, e-commerce billing and more for both B2B and B2C customers. 
You'll be supported by a highly experienced AR manager who will coach and guide you to succeed, but will need autonomy, drive and strong planning skills. 
On offer is an annual salary between $70,000 to $80,000 plus Super based on your experience, a modern office environment near Airport West with onsite parking, great team and company culture, together with multiple perks and benefits.
