If you are someone who learns quickly and loves building relationships with others, then we have the role for you!Reporting to the Financial Operations Manager and working with the automated business systems, the Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for working within the framework of the finance team. The primary focus of this role is data driven and involves reviewing credit holds, reconciling accounts (particularly those of key customers), following up on overdue accounts, as well as performing other related general accounting functions.
You will act as a point of contact for stakeholder enquiries, forming strong relationships with Royal Canin account managers and communicate frequently to ensure efficient customer query resolution.
What will be your key responsibilities?Follow up and allocate paymentsMonitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularitiesPursue overdue accounts, via telephone, email and written correspondence where necessaryInvestigate and resolve customer account enquiries, communicate resolutionAssist with Master Data Maintenance, setting up and maintaining of customer and vendor master dataReconcile accounts receivable and send monthly statementsMonitor, initiate and apply approved credit limit changesAssist Financial Operations Manager with AR forecastPlease note: this position is a 12 month contract What are we looking for?Previous experience in an accounts receivable roleTeam player with great collaboration skillsFinance tertiary qualification is preferred (not essential)End to end accounts receivable knowledge and maintaining general ledgersDemonstrated hands on experience in modular accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NavisionStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyWhat can you expect from Royal Canin?Join a purpose driven company in an exciting period of growth, with premium brands recommended by animal health professionalsIndividualised career progression with a focus on you and your career goals.
