We're excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team at either our Truganina or Geelong, VIC office.
Reporting to the Shared Service Manager - AR, you will be responsible for accurately managing the company's accounts receivable and coordinating job/project activities to ensure timely and correct invoicing.
This role is centered around high-volume invoice processing.
Working in a dynamic environment, your key responsibilities will include: High volume invoice creation Assembling complex customer payment claims Creating and issuing credit notes Working with the scheduling and operations team to ensure accurate and timely invoice creation Ensuring customers are billed in a timely and accurate manner Ensuring customer queries are responded to promptly via email/phone calls to maintain a high level of customer service Identify invoicing and data process issues and provide timely solutions Understanding operational, job management systems and contract interpretation to ensure the smooth flow of information for accurate invoicing Responsible for month-end process including sales accruals, customer spend, etc.
Assisting the Shared Service Manager – AR in developing and maintaining accurate costing systems Working closely with internal/external project teams to update and implement new systems covering invoicing, internal control and administrative processes This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading sustainable waste management and recycling company with operations across Australia and New Zealand.
About You To be successful for this role, you will have: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar, high volume, Accounts role and ideally with some experience in a service-based industry Cert IV, Diploma or above within a business, accounting, finance, or related field, is advantageous but not essential Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Excellent time management skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and manage your own workload under tight deadlines What We Offer At TDG Environmental, we value our employees and understand the importance of offering employee benefits.
