Role: Accounts Receivable Officer Duration: 2 3 months Location: Sydney CBD 5 days in office Paying: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour plus super (depending on experience) Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer with a minimum of 2 years' experience in professional services, preferably in accounting or law. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounts receivable principles, intermediate Excel skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities Monitor and manage the accounts receivable portfolio for timely collection of outstanding invoices. Conduct monthly in-person meetings with partners to review debtors' reports and document action items. Communicate regularly with clients to address payment delays, resolve disputes, and negotiate payment plans. Maintain accurate records of all debt recovery activities, collaborating with internal teams to resolve outstanding payment issues. Identify and escalate potential bad debts to the management team, recommending recovery actions. Handle ad hoc tasks, such as client onboarding, payment processing, and coordinating client refunds. Continuously improve debt recovery processes for enhanced efficiency. Skills and Attributes People and Team Working Essential experience working in a team and independently.
