Oreco Group has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our expanding manufacturing facility in Childers, QLD.
We are seeking a Part-time Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. This position will see you become a part of a high-performing team within our head office, providing outstanding customer service to our internal and external providers and clients.
Based near Childers in Isis Central, Oreco Group is a privately owned manufacturing company that supplies a diverse range of horticultural and agricultural products throughout Australia. Oreco Group's sole focus is to produce the best quality products while supporting local and regional businesses and communities by sourcing recycled, eco-friendly, and sustainable raw materials.
Requirements and Skills: Managing the Accounts Receivable function of the company Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and accurately posted Supporting the month-end process Preparing forecasting reports Understanding and knowledge of accounting and inventory management practices is advantageous Qualifications and Knowledge: Cert IV in Bookkeeping & Cert IV in Business Administration looked upon favorably Intermediate computer skills, including Excel and other accounting packages Knowledge of NetSuite is advantageous Job Responsibilities: Manage accounting figures and financial records Handle sensitive information appropriately Understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail Provide backup support during staff absences and assist with administrative tasks during high workloads Generate and distribute various operational reports What's on Offer: A part-time, 5-day per week opportunity that would suit an individual looking for work during school hours Become a part of an Australian-owned business during an exciting growth period, focused on making a positive change within the horticultural and agricultural industries Supportive and friendly team environment How to Apply: If the above sounds like your ideal role, please click 'apply' and include your updated cover letter and resume.
