As a Accounts Receivable Officer, you will ensure that all billings are in accordance with relevant legislation, including account reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.
Please note, this is a full time 6 months contract (possibility for extension) Your part in our UnitingCare team Prepare and process journals for billing and adjustments and required journals and reconciliation for monthly completion of Direct Debits and statements.Prepare and forward customer correspondence and prepare and process refunds.Maintain communication lines with key stakeholders.Action email enquiries, answer and assign wrap codes to phone enquiries and perform administrative functions.Ensure work instructions, procedure manuals, working forms and templates are regularly updated and maintained.Complete month end processing and reporting as required Maintain accurate client records including account reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.Process data entry required for production of client invoices and statementsIdentify irregularities in data, investigate and bring to the attention of the Team Lead.Provide feedback on transactions that have been incorrectly processed or missing and need to be considered for accrual for month end close completeness. Process, track and refund Accommodation Bonds and Deposits.Process resident departures, prepare probate request and refund request letters for resident representatives.Generate Bond/RAD invoices to offset payments and prepare solicitor letters.Update treasury on BOND/RAD cashflow and report refund actuals to ensure stable cashflow. Produce and maintain all records, statements and letters for BONDS, RADS and RACs.Process hardship approvals from DoHSReview Medicare claims and process in Medical Portal.Prepare, review and make required adjustments to Medicare subsidy & reconciliation, journals and absence register.Process necessary Dynamics AX9 adjustments for Medicare and ACFI.Undertake all relevant reporting requirements What makes a difference for us? Relevant and demonstrable work experience in a similar or comparable role eg, accounts receivable, journal preparation, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.High level of general ICT competency, advanced excel and word with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new operational systems and processes.High level of stakeholder engagement capability with ability to articulate the issue and collaboratively find a solution.Demonstrated ability to process information and problem solve to reach a defined and quality outcome with exceptional attention to detail.Immaculate record keeping skills with the ability to provide a high standard of financial reporting.Exemplify good communication skill and ability to communicate professionally with others both verbally and in writingDisplay problem-solving skill even under stressful conditions and deadlineAble to manage own time and that of others effectively Ability to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policiesDemonstrated working experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics AX12 (PeoplePoint) or SAP What makes a difference for you?  The opportunity to be part of the second-largest Queensland employer who has been leading by example as a proud not-for-profit, for more than 100 years.
