The Role: The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for the maintenance of billing, collection and reporting activities associated with payments received, whilst liaising with suppliers and internal departments to achieve desired financial outcomes and ongoing customer satisfaction. They may also participate in ad-hoc duties such as reception coverage during periods of absence.
Maintain Accounts Receivable Customer Job Files.Reconciliation of Banking Accounts.Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.Follow up collection and allocation of payments.General Office Duties – photocopying, faxing, scanning, typing, filing.Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.Prepare Bank Deposits.Investigate and resolve Customer queries.Process multi-currency transactions.Communicate with clients via phone and email.Produce monthly reports.Assist in month end closing.Maintain and distribute Daily Report.Prepare Customer Aging Report.Prepare Pro-forma Invoices Weekly Report.Collate and Archive files at end of each calendar year.Participate in reception relief during absences.Undertake ad-hoc duties as and when directed.Skills and Experience: Proficient in high volume, multi-company data entryAbility to organise transactions and prioritise requestsIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft D365 software (preferred)Analytical skills and problem-solving attitudeAbility to read and comprehend billing clauses in customer contractsAbility to navigate new programs with easePunctual and reliablePrevious experience in a large Australia-Wide Company with Interstate or International locations and 2+ years related experience within the industry is desirable.
