About the businessOur company, Territory Rent A Car Pty Ltd, has been in business for over 58 years, we operate the Thrifty Car Rental Franchise for the Northern Territory and Kimberley region of WA, we have an extensive fleet of passenger vehicles, 4WDs, trucks and buses.
About the roleWe are currently recruiting for an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter to join our team as Accounts Receivable Officer, the primary focus is to make sure that our account customers operate within the credit parameters that they have agreed to. Our accounting program is EXO.
Main tasks include:Providing a high level of customer service at all times to all relevant partiesProcess daily customer payments and match to customer invoicesContact customers regarding overdue paymentsReconciliation of customer accounts and provide commentary when requiredProvide courteous and timely responses to customer enquiriesProactively investigate and resolve any disputes/queries within a timely and effective mannerLiaise with other team members/departments regarding customer queries and complaintsStore information in accordance with company guidelinesProviding support and reporting to senior management as requiredMaintained confidentiality at all timesOther ad hoc operational processes as directedEssential Criteria:Demonstrated understanding of accounts receivable functionsThe ability to work autonomously and efficiently, as well as part of a larger teamWell developed communication and conflict resolution skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy entering informationWell-developed time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlinesAbility to prioritise tasks, seek guidance when required, but work with minimal supervisionExcellent Computer literacy skillsBusiness specific training will be provided but previous experience in a similar role is essential
