Accounts Receivable/Collections Officer

People2peopole are currently working with a independent and family-owned Transport leading express parcel and transport service provider in north-western suburb of Adelaide, in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. We are currently looking for a temporary Collections / Accounts Receivable Officer for an immediate start.The working hours would be Monday to Friday on a full time basis from 8:30am-17:00pm 2 month assignmentKey ResponsibilitiesEstablish outbound collection correspondence via phone and email.Process payments via credit card.Update cash collection forecasts and update team leader on accounts.Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.Document and initiate investigation of client invoicing queries.Recommend alternative collection courses of action where required and escalate delinquent accounts as appropriate.Resend documentation to facilitate payment.Support the team with other ad hoc tasks as required.Bank receiptingThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience with invoice collection and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skillsStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities across many accounts in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.Proficient user of common computer programs including the Microsoft Office and Finance Software.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Does this sound like the perfect position for you?
