Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist + Admin Duties - 30 hrs / week - 9.00am to 3:00pm
Total Office National is based in Western Suburbs and is looking for Accounts Receivable Specialist who can also do other admin duties.
Summary: The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming payments, managing customer accounts, and resolving any billing discrepancies. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the company's cash flow and customer relationships.
Responsibilities: Invoice Processing: Monitor accounts to ensure invoices are paid on time. Process credit memos as needed. Collections: Follow up on overdue invoices via phone, email, or mail for 30, 60 and 90 days Implement collection strategies to minimize outstanding balances. Negotiate payment plans with customers as needed. Account Reconciliation: Regularly review customer accounts for accuracy. Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and payment history. Reporting: Generate and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management. Analyze aging reports to identify potential collection issues. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments. Maintain positive relationships with customers and resolve issues professionally. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred) Experience: 4+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes *Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 per week
