Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description:

Appen is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Associate. This is a full-time remote position based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, AU. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable and possess the personality traits of being driven and passionate about their work. Strong communication and persuasion skills are also essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:- Process invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions- Assist with month-end closing processes- Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Requirements:- At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Strong attention to detail- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
