Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Corporate Accounts Payable team. The role involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure timely and accurate payment to our suppliers. Responsibilities include verifying and reconciling accounting payables in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Day in the life... Review and process invoices received from suppliersChase hotels for statements and invoice clients within SLAAssist operational staff and suppliers with queriesWork cohesively with the wider finance team to ensure accounts payable processes are followed accuratelyMaintain supplier information in the Accounts Payable SystemPerform, review, and manage the entire accounts payable processInteract across divisions, with upper-level management, and with vendorsWho you are... Basic math and accounting skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required)Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFluency in financial conceptsAbility to think 'outside the box' and problem solveAbility to interpret bank statements, supplier invoices/statements, and documentationHighly developed customer service skills to ensure mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, partners, and customersTravel Industry knowledge (Desirable)Accounts Payable or Procure to Pay experience (Desirable)Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (Desirable)What you'll enjoy...
