Accounts Payable Officer (Part Time)

Due to the continuous success and growth of our business, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Support Office team as an Accounts Payable Officer. The role is Part Time at 3 or 4 days per week. Who Are We? Retail Prodigy Group are the master retail franchise partner for NIKE Stores across Australia and New Zealand and the Retail Operations Partner for Samsung Stores across Australia.
With an extensive portfolio of Retail stores, we are a team of talented and passionate retailers, committed to setting a new benchmark in retail.
The role: Reporting to our Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing assistance with accounts payable and receivable tasks, data entry, and reporting to various stakeholders through accurate and timely processing, recording, and classification of financial information.
You will have a positive customer service attitude, strong attention to detail with an ability to foster good working relationships, possess excellent communication skills, a "can do" attitude, and thrive on working in a fast-paced energetic environment.
Key responsibilities: Accounts receivable – collections, reconciliations & invoicingAccounts payable – data entry and paymentsPurchase order processingProcessing & importing sales, debtors, exchange, returns, and payment allocationsProvide support to accountants, accounts receivable, and accounts payable as requiredProviding support in the execution of Finance game plansProactively work with the support team to achieve team goalsAd hoc duties as requiredTo be successful in this role you will have: Strong attention to detail3+ years experience in a similar roleProven ability to work to set deadlinesAbility to manage multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis and to prioritize workloads accordinglyWork collaboratively as a team player and also independentlyExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong understanding of Microsoft ExcelDemonstrated analytical and numerical skillsYou will be a part of a hardworking team with a fun culture, exciting career opportunities, and excellent employee benefits!
