Accounts Payable Officer

An exciting new opportunity has become available with our client AGL.
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to cover a 12-month maternity leave position, with the possibility to extend - located in the Sydney CBD Corporate offices.

Key purpose of this role:
The purpose of the Shared Services team is to ensure that SBES AP, accounting and reporting requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
This role will require you to attend the office 5 days per week for training (up to 3 months) and will then move to a hybrid role (2 days from home).

Key Responsibilities: Timely processing of supplier invoicesReconciliation of supplier statementsPrepare cash flow relating to payments to suppliersTimely assistance in resolving PO approval queriesManage forecasts and local and international paymentsAbout You:

You will ideally have experience (up to 5 years) in a full Accounts Payable function and be curious to learn and expand your skills.

What you'll bring to the table: Previous experience in a full Accounts Payable functionDemonstrated experience dealing with senior managers and leadership teamsIntermediate to advanced experience with Excel and SAP (V Lookups/Pivot Tables)Advanced communication, interpersonal, and influencing skillsExperience with NetSuite is highly desirable, however not essential To submit CVs please click APPLY NOW and follow the prompts.
