Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a forecasted 10+ year mine life producing over 200,000 Au Ozs for the first five years of production. Construction of the mill has recently been completed, with first gold pour completed in CY Q4 2023.
Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risk the project in advance of underground production. The operation is an industry standout with strong financial and ESG metrics underpinned by the exceptional grade of the project.
The Bellevue Gold Project is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.

This position is responsible for the regular, timely, and accurate running of the full-function Accounts Payable (AP) duties and providing support to the payroll function. The role will support the Senior Financial Accountant in managing payroll and AP to a high standard, building and strengthening business relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
This position is offered on a full-time basis, working at our West Perth office.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Accounts Payable Full AP function – end to end accounts payable processing from receipt of invoice to payment of suppliersDistributing invoices for approvalSupplier/Vendor statement reconciliations and actioning discrepancies when requiredAnswering accounts payable enquiries from both internal and external partiesMonitors and actions the AP inboxPrepare and process employee expense reimbursementsAssisting with month-end accounting proceduresAd hoc duties as requiredPayroll Support Ensuring wages, salaries, and allowances are accurately calculated by external payroll agencyEnsuring leave records are appropriately recorded by external payroll agencyProviding assistance with posting of monthly payroll journal entriesAd hoc duties as requiredGeneral Assisting with preparation of supporting documentation for half/full year reviews/auditsAny other reporting requirements as requiredKey Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Competencies: Relevant practical experience in Accounts Payable and PayrollAble to communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external peopleWorks well in a close-knit teamExcellent time management and prioritisation skillsProactive and self-motivatedHigh attention to detailDisplays the Bellevue core valuesIntermediate MS Office skills, specifically Excel skills (formulas, vlookups, graphs etc) - desirableExperience with AP automation systems - desirableBGL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and building an organisation which provides equal opportunities for all its employees with the objective of attracting, retaining, and developing a workforce that is representative of the wider community.
