The Role
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions in an effective and efficient manner to ensure SRG Global Vendors accounts are managed within established time limits.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily processing of invoicesResolve invoice discrepancies in a timely mannerMaintain and update recordsReconciliations of supplier statements to invoicesReceive incoming invoices, match up with purchase orders, code and process into accounts systemProcess staff expense reimbursements Safety, Quality & Environment Immediately report safety issues to relevant Managers.Take steps to address / remove / isolate safety issues and risks if within your capacity to do so.Ensure all documentation is handled, reviewed and stored in accordance to Company guidelines with particular regard to confidential information.Take steps to minimise office exposure to environmental events / hazards. The successful applicant will ideally have: Cert IV or Diploma in Finance or a relevant qualification preferredPrevious experience in a similar roleExperience in the construction or Mining IndustryExperience in high volume, multiple company environment preferredStrong attention to details and excellent time management skillsGood communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on team workExcellent computer and accounting software skillsExperience with Jobpac and Dynamics 365Ability to multitask and prioritise a diverse range of tasks.
