The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for managing the organisation's financial obligations.
Together we are making a difference for kids living with genetic disease.
Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) was Australia's first dedicated paediatric research facility and is now one of the world's most highly regarded independent medical research organisations. Our research focuses on the four key areas impacting children's health: cancer, genomics and genetic diseases, neurobiology, and embryology.

Work with a team of dedicated professionals
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team to:

Perform accounts payable function including invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliations and payment processing
Manage and reconcile company credit cards
Maintain accurate bookkeeping and records, ensuring compliance with company policies
Communicate effectively with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders, handling queries and resolving issues on a timely manner
Provide support to the Finance Team as required

What can you bring to this role?

Previous accounts payable experience or a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software, ideally with Technology one experience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast paced environment
Ability to problem solve and has strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Degree in a related field of study
