You'll handle a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to maintain accurate and efficient accounts payable processes.
Reviewing all invoices for proper documentation and approval before processing.Preparing invoices and settlement runs to meet payment deadlines.Maintaining thorough and accurate files and documentation, following company policies and accounting standards.Reconciling GP supplier accounts for period-end accruals.Investigating and resolving discrepancies in vendor statements.Setting up new vendors in the system and managing updates to existing vendor details.Managing the Accounts Payable email inbox, responding promptly to internal and external queries.Supporting cashflow forecasting by tracking future accounts payable expenses.Assisting with GST obligations, ensuring compliance with legislation and timely submissions.Participating in projects to enhance accounts payable processes.How You'll Know You're Winning: Timely and accurate invoice processing and payments.Strong supplier relationships built on clear communication and prompt issue resolution.Compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.Accurate accounts payable data reflected in the accounting system.Effective collaboration with other departments to achieve company objectives.We're looking for someone with: Strong organisational and time-management skills.A problem-solving mindset and basic accounting knowledge.The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.Previous experience in accounts payable, especially in a large, multi-site organisation (desirable but not essential).Relevant qualifications (TAFE or tertiary) and/or experience with Workday ERP (desirable but not essential).One Last Flex: At Nando's, our global purpose is "Changing Lives, Together."
