Accounts Payable Officer

Permanent Accounts Payable Officer job opportunity with a multinational retail business located in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.

Our client is a multinational Retail organisation based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs, seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their close-knit high-performing finance team on a permanent ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities: Ensure all payables are processed accurately and on time.Process invoices for goods and services received, using the correct cost centre.Ensure that all credit notes are reviewed, matched to short payments and/or processed accurately and in a timely manner.Reconciliation of vendor statements to ensure that all aged items are addressed and followed through to resolution.Systems improvements.Ensure AP month-end GL accounts are reconciled and all reconciliation items are supported by appropriate comments.Schedule and process vendor payments. What we are looking for: 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.Ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities effectively.Can-do attitude and exceptional communication skills.Excellent attention to detail.
