Accounts Payable Officer

Our client is a multinational Retail organisation based in Melbournes Eastern Suburbs, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their close knit high performing finance team on a permanent ongoing basis.Key responsibilities:Ensure all payables are processed accurately and on timeProcess invoices for goods and services received, using the correct cost centreEnsure that all credit notes are reviewed, matched to short payments and / or processed accurately and in a timely mannerReconciliation of vendor statements to ensure that all aged items are addressed and followed through to resolutionSystems improvementsEnsure AP month-end GL accounts are reconciled and all reconciliation items are supported by appropriate commentsSchedule and process vendor paymentsWhat we are looking for:3 + years of experience in Accounts PayableAbility to prioritise and manage competing priorities effectivelyCan do attitude and exceptional communication skillsExcellent attention to detailWhat you will get:Excellent remunerationOpen door and inclusive cultureRealistic career progression pathways within the businessNetworking and social eventsImmediate start available for the right candidate
