ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER Located in Box Hill Permanent full-time role (80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO) Salary packaging options Eastern Health Eastern Health is one of Melbourne's largest public health services. About the role The Finance Department is seeking for an experienced and competent Accounts Payable Officer with excellent communication skills to join the Accounts Payable Team and to support the delivery of high quality AP services. The Accounts Payable Officer position is focused on end-to-end invoice processing, supplier reconciliation and issue management.
Primary Responsibilities Ensuring invoices are processed accurately, in a timely manner and are appropriately authorised and coded for non-PO based Assist with supplier master data maintenance Ensure that material supplier statements are reconciled and reconciling items are appropriately pursued to resolution. Ensure that all telephone and e-mails queries received from suppliers and internal stakeholders are addressed within two working days. About you To be successful in this role you will possess:
Significant experience in high volume accounts payable position preferably with a large ERP system (Oracle experience will be highly regarded). Proficiency in the use of Windows based applications (particularly Excel) High quality data entry skills and good attention to detail Experience in vendor management and account reconciliations High levels of communication both written and verbal Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure Good understanding of basic accounting principles The right to work in Australia Please refer to the attached position description for further details of the role.
