The Opportunity
The role of Accounts Payable Officer will be accountable for the preparation, reconciliation and payment of accounts.
You will provide day-to-day administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, accurate processing and reporting functions.
Key responsibilities will include:
Administration of all accounts payable processes
Provide professional and accurate assistance for enquiries from creditors and internal stakeholders
Follow up supplier and internal stakeholder issues and resolve them in a timely manner
Assist in the accurate and timely set up of supplier accounts by capturing required information
Ensure compliance with all company credit systems and processes
Ensure creditors' statements are reconciled on a monthly basis addressing outstanding invoices and investigating credit balances resulting in a completed reconciliation by month end
Prepare weekly payment runs, as requested
About You
Ability to implement and complete activities on time
JDE E1 and/or Coupa experience would be highly regarded
Previous experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable capacity
Knowledge of accounting principles and finance processes
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office / Excel; JDE E1 experience would be highly regarded
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to work in a close-knit team and autonomously
