The Opportunity The role of Accounts Payable Officer will be accountable for the preparation, reconciliation and payment of accounts.
You will provide day-to-day administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, accurate processing and reporting functions.
Key responsibilities will include:
Administration of all accounts payable processesProvide professional and accurate assistance for enquiries from creditors and internal stakeholdersFollow up supplier and internal stakeholder issues and resolve them in a timely mannerAssist in the accurate and timely set up of supplier accounts by capturing required informationEnsure compliance with all company credit systems and processesEnsure creditors' statements are reconciled on a monthly basis addressing outstanding invoices and investigating credit balances resulting in a completed reconciliation by month endPrepare weekly payment runs, as requestedAbout You Ability to implement and complete activities on timeJDE E1 and/or Coupa experience would be highly regardedPrevious experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable capacityKnowledge of accounting principles and finance processesIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office / Excel; JDE E1 experience would be highly regardedStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesAbility to work in a close-knit team and autonomouslyBenefits Competitive salary packageFlexible working arrangements - hybridCareer opportunities in a high growth, Australian businessSupportive and safe work environmentPaid parental leaveGreat company benefits: Employee share program, company discounts, salary packaging, flu vaccinations, EAP, discounts on private health insurance and more.Our Process Our recruitment process involves a number of checks including, but not limited to, criminal history, medicals, drug & alcohol testing, as well as verification of qualifications, licence and right-to-work status.
