We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Shared Services Team. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work within the Private Hospital Division looking after our 10 private hospitals in all Accounts Payable matters across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
The role is based in our Bowen Hills Head Office with the ability to work in a hybrid arrangement – WFH and office.
Key responsibilities of the role: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholdersMonitor and respond to high volume email enquiriesProcess a high volume of invoices through OCR and finance system for approvalReview and assess payment documents for validity of transactionsWork with stakeholders to review and correct complex three way matching errorsCarry out reconciliations of supplier statement to creditor ledgerSet up and complete weekly payment runs including payment to overseas entitiesThings that work for us: Demonstrated Accounts Payable experience (2+ years) operating in a high transactional, fast paced and complex environmentCreative and innovative thinking, with a willingness to explore and develop new process ideas and see them through to completionExceptional organisational skills and the ability to collaborate, work as a team and as an individual, and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to deadlinesStrong computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly – Experience in major ERP system connected with automatic invoice processing system is highly desirableExcellent communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with suppliers and facility based staffNationally Coordinated Criminal History Check under 6 months or the willingness to obtainThings that work for you: Ability to visibly see your impact on the business and its serviceHybrid working model – the ability to work from home and our Bowen Hills Head OfficeCompetitive salary packaging optionsEmployee Assistance Program for staff and their familiesAccess to the Fitness Passport (FP)Why become part of St Vincent's?
