About us Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with 30 years' industry experience in Australia and New Zealand.
We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors.
Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works, and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
About the role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our Brisbane team!
This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting the accuracy and efficiency of vendor and supplier payments.
Working closely with our extended Finance Team and Business Services Manager, you'll be responsible for:
Processing day-to-day accounts payable transactions, including verifying and matching invoices to purchase orders.Performing payment reconciliations and ensuring invoices are approved with correct purchase order numbers.Managing credit applications, requests and credit note follow-ups.Maintaining up-to-date vendor records and processing employee reimbursements.Assisting with credit card statement workflow and managing subcontractor compliance documentation.Contributing to process improvements and acting as a key point of contact for Abergeldie's policies on credit terms.What you'll bring to the Team 3-5 years of experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable processes and ERP systems.Relevant qualifications (TAFE certificate/diploma), desirable.Experience with IFS, desirable.Strong time management, organisation and prioritisation skills.Clear and concise communication skills.Why you should work with us Our people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we make sure that this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term.
