The role is responsible to follow up prompt invoice approval and invoice dispute resolution between internal and external stakeholders. The Accounts Payable Officer will have varied responsibilities including;Review and process valid invoices and credit notes accurately including matching PO and coding non-PO invoices, and explore discount opportunitiesRespond to enquiries in a timely manner with a high level of customer serviceSupport the maintenance of vendor master recordsReconcile vendor statements to obtain missing invoices and resolve account discrepanciesSupport the administration and internal stakeholders with the use of AP systemsFoster a strong and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersComplete month-end closing tasks and provide support to Finance team and auditors as requiredUpdate AP process guidesAd hoc tasks as directed by AP Manager within reasonable scope of AP functionThe traits that will help you succeedMinimum 3 years' experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable positionStrong attention to detail is essentialTake ownership of tasks assigned, show initiative, and provide assistance to other members of the Finance team as necessaryAs one of the largest and fastest growing aged care providers in Australia, we need exceptional people to join us on our journey of changing the way we offer aged care.
