For our Support Office located at Sydney International Airport, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer. The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for processing vendor invoices accurately, ensuring payments are made timely, and managing key stakeholders to deliver required tasks efficiently while adhering to company policy and standards.
Your new job includes:Monitor payment cycles for various suppliers and ensure payments are made on time.Maintain a high level of professionalism while dealing with external stakeholders and provide consistent, timely, and accurate delivery of accounts payable services.Processing vendor invoices and payments and monitoring system data validation for accuracy.Preparing payment batches for review on a timely basis to meet payment deadlines.Assisting with supplier credit applications.Management of staff reimbursements.Proactively consult with various departments and creditors to resolve quantity and price discrepancies.What you should bring along:Tertiary/Post-secondary school qualifications in accounting as major or equivalent is highly regarded.At least 2 years demonstrated accounts payable experience and ready to join a global travel retail company.Wonderful time management skills, organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to a busy environment while adhering to tight deadlines.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and people skills.Persuasive communication and verbal skills.Experience with SAP accounting system and invoice management systems is favorable but not essential.What you can be excited about:Active feedback culture.Attractive employee discounts.Subsidised parking.Team events.What's your passion and does this sound like you?
