We are looking for someone to join our Accounts Payable Team as an Accounts Payable Manager!
This role will be based at Mascot, only a 7-minute walk from Mascot station, and will be required to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week (2 days working from home) and will report directly to the Finance Manager.

The position is responsible for the integrity of the Purchase Order/Accounts Payable processes by ensuring invoices are processed accurately and timely.
This position is a leadership role and must build relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver efficiencies in the Accounts Payable processes.
Primary duties and responsibilitiesSupervise the work of the Team ensuring compliance with legislation, accounting policy, and standards;Ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of supplier invoices;Ensure appropriate controls are in place to protect the integrity of costs being recorded;Ensure Purchase Order compliance and internal controls are maintained and followed as per dnata Policy;Liaise and build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders;Drive improvement initiatives in the AP process including related upstream and downstream processes;Provide a high standard of customer service for both internal and external customers;Coach, mentor, and train members of the accounts payable team;Perform ad hoc duties as required.OH&S ResponsibilitiesCompliance with the dnata Safety and Environment Policies;Compliance with legislative Health & Safety requirements;Develop and maintain a positive safety culture focused on awareness and vigilance;Conduct work in accordance with dnata's Health & Safety Management System;Follow all safety work procedures, adhering to all safety guidelines provided;Participate in emergency drills and/or evacuations.Essential criteriaProven experience as Accounts Payable Team Lead in a similar size organisation;Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, coach, supervise, and motivate teams;Possess a customer service focus and display professionalism towards both internal and external customers at all times;Sound understanding of accounting principles and practices;High level of accuracy and attention to detail;Excellent computer skills, advanced skills in MS Excel;Well-developed communication skills and the ability to stay patient, negotiate, and proactively solve problems;Ability to prioritise, with excellent time management skills.Desirable criteriaTertiary Qualification in Accounting.
