Accounts Payable Manager

Zip is looking for an exceptional Accounts Payable Manager to join the Finance Team, reporting directly to the Manager, ANZ Finance Operations.This role will suit someone who is looking for exposure to a dynamic industry, who is keen to make an impact, and passionate about process improvement. Zip has a casual yet professional environment with a strong culture and an "Own it Do it" approach.Interesting problems you'll get to solveReview and process incoming invoices, ensuring they are accurately recorded in AP/accounting systems with correct GST codingProcess weekly Accounts Payable batches and distribute remittancesDrive timely approval and payment of invoices through proactive partnering with the businessAssist and or administer and process employee expense reimbursements and employee expense systems, as requiredEnsure adherence to internal policies and proceduresContribute to ongoing improvement of AP processes and controlsContribute to monthly BAS review process including partnering with the tax teamMaintain relationships with vendors, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issuesAssist with cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliationsAssist with Modern slavery and Payment Times Reporting Scheme reporting requirementsAssist the broader Finance team with ad hoc queriesWhat you'll bring to the teamAt least 5 years experience in a AP manager capacity, with experience managing internal and external stakeholdersExperience as a system administrator for AP and expense management systemsExperience with complex GST (apportionment / reverse charge etc)Ability to enforce a strict Delegation of AuthorityIntermediate level Excel skillsExperience in a dynamic environmentStrong communication skillsAn aptitude for identifying and managing risksOur values in your DNA: Customer First, Own It, Stronger Together and Change the GameWhat you'll get in returnAs we write this next exciting chapter in our story, we will continue to move at pace and embrace change.
