About the Role The Accounts Payable Lead will oversee and enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of our financial obligations.
In this key leadership role, you'll drive process improvements, mentor a high-performing team, and collaborate with stakeholders to support LHG's financial objectives.
Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, maintaining compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Implement process improvements to optimise efficiency and accuracy within the function.
Provide insightful reporting on accounts payable trends, aged payables, and risks.
Foster relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve payment issues and ensure smooth operations.
Support organisational change initiatives, including the rollout of new financial systems or policies.
About You What you will bring is experience in Accounts Payable, including leadership roles with a minimum of 6 years' experience.
Strong understanding of payables cycle management, financial controls, and compliance standards.
Proven success in implementing process improvements and optimising systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in healthcare, aged care, or service-oriented industries (highly desirable).
