ABOUT THE ROLE: As part of the Tony White Group, Illawarra Toyota has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, motivated, and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Administration Department of our dynamic dealership. This position is required at Albion Park Rail dealership.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Process and review invoices for accuracy, approval, and correct coding. Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation. Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure timely payments. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and resolve any issues. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments by check. Maintain organized records of all invoices, purchase orders, and payments. Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all payable entries are complete. Assist with maintaining vendor relationships and onboarding new vendors as needed. Support the accounting team with audits and financial reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in Accounts Payable or related positions. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks. Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and internet-based applications, facilitating efficient workflow. Advanced time management, planning, and organisational abilities, adept at handling multiple priorities to achieve goals. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively, while also capable of working autonomously and delivering results independently.
