About the role: The Accounts Administrator role is to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments. You will manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt and verification to payment processing and reconciliation. This involves collaborating closely with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies, maintaining meticulous records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Accountabilities: Manage purchase orders, supplier details, and multi-currency payments, ensuring accuracy in coding, classification, and compliance with financial policies. Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data, reconciling ledgers, and resolving discrepancies with vendors. Administer bank reconciliations, aged payables, and month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and journal assistance. Facilitate payment of invoices, issue remittance advice, and handle queries from suppliers and the organisation in a timely manner. Support supplier onboarding, generate accounts payable reports, and ensure GST compliance on invoices. Collaborate with Accounts and Finance teams, proactively evaluate processes, and identify areas for improvement. Perform other duties as needed to support the team and ensure operational efficiency.
