They are actively seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager to enhance their financial processes. You will play a key role in refining cash flow strategies, increasing departmental efficiencies and contributing to the company's continued success.
The Position:
The position requires you to have experience in managing exchange rates and Forward Exchange Contracts, a proven background as an Accounts Payable or Receivable Manager in a manufacturing or FMCG industry, and a strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and cash flow management. The four key focus areas will include:
Accounts Payable Management:
Implement and oversee a streamlined process for timely and accurate supplier payments.
Manage and reconcile the accounts payable ledger, establish controls to prevent discrepancies, maintain strong supplier relationships to negotiate favourable terms and resolve issues.
Accounts Receivable Management:
Develop and implement a proactive follow-up process to ensure prompt customer payments, analyse payment trends to mitigate risks, collaborate with teams to resolve payment delays and reduce the DSO.
Cash Cycle Optimisation:
Partner with finance to manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity, seek ways to improve the cash cycle, report on key financial metrics and provide insight and recommendations for improvement.
Process Improvement:
Regularly refine accounts payable and receivable processes to boost efficiency and ensure compliance with financial controls and policies.
The Candidate:
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Manager.
Experience in managing exchange rates and Forward Exchange Contracts.
Advanced Excel and experience using a large ERP system.
A background of working in industries that have high transactions, are fast-paced and complex is imperative.
Excellent analytic, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills are required and a history of leading and developing teams is crucial.
The ability to professionally liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree will be an advantage.

$120,000 - $130,000 + super.
