Due to the current employee relocating overseas, an opportunity is now available for an experienced accounts payable professional to join the finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager in this stand alone role, you will manage the end to end responsibilities of the accounts payable functions for both Australia and New Zealand operations.
Key responsibilities will include;
Processing of invoicesArranging payments via Banking Payment PlatformsAccount reconciliations – including suppliers and bank accountsSetting up new suppliersGeneral Ledger coding of supplier invoicesCalculating and processing monthly accruals of supplier invoicesPurchasing of foreign exchange from the overseas parent company & local bankEnd of month reporting – ensure inventory invoices processed prior to end of month cut off, Suppler Trial Balance reconciliation to GLAssist with Balance Sheet reconciliations & other general accounts tasks.You must be able to demonstrated solid AP experience and be familiar with multiple currencies. Your style is one of initiative, attention to detail, focus on quality service and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
This is a small team environment so you will need to be a team player and be prepared to assist others when necessary.
As our client will be progressing to an automated AP System, experience in this area would be an advantage.
Whilst not essential, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an advantage as our client will be moving to this system within the next 2 years from the current Microsoft Dynamics AX system.
A Police Check and Medical will be required for the successful candidate.
