Key responsibilities transaction Processing: Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and entered into Jonas Premier accounting software. The timely processing of transactional level financial information, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank transactions with a focus on ensuring the accuracy, completeness and integrity of that information;
Bank reconciliation supplier Statement Reconciliation including all bank reconciliations and end of month process support. Accounts payable verification of invoices and assistance with payments, managing and resolving vendor queries as well as supplier statements across multiple projects.
Accounts receivable assistance with on charges and rebates. Additional tasks assist with Origin accounts, confirmation of bank details with vendors, assistance with credit applications and BPayments, maintenance of databases. Creditor liaison liaising with creditors to resolve account discrepancies.
Your requirements tertiary qualifications in Accounting is preffered. Excellent communication & relationship building skills with various stakeholders (clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors etc.) Local experience and relationships with consultants and subcontractors. Ideally 2-3 years industry experience in the commercial or residential construction industry.
