The Accounts Officer – Revenue oversees the accounts receivable (AR) tasks and helps ensure the Finance Department runs smoothly by focusing on accurate data, timeliness, and maintaining good governance in their area of responsibility.
Work 3 days a week from our brand-new purpose-built workspace nestled at Milton's Park Road, and accessible by multiple public transport options, join a respectful, transparent, and collaborative team at MS Queensland where values are at the core. Additionally, you will: Manage AR transactions, including reconciling weekly NDIS Claims invoices and service claims Handle overdue account collections and liaise with stakeholders for accurate information processing Reconcile banking entries daily and produce exception reports for issue resolution Support month-end close procedures and assist with purchase invoice processing during peak times Identify opportunities to improve finance processes Provide coverage for Finance team members when needed, especially in Accounts Payable About you: Proven self-management skills to prioritise and meet deadlines effectively Demonstrated accounting knowledge and strong numerical skills Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector (desirable) Familiarity with the NDIS (desirable) Strong written and oral communication skills Exceptional interpersonal abilities with empathy for others' needs Customer-focused with exceptional listening, influencing, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medium accounting software Initiative-driven mindset to enhance business unit performance NDWS Clearance: Positive clearance required from NDIS Worker Screening Unit Completion of NDIS Online Worker Training Module prior to employment Why MSQ?
