Join Our Team as an Accounts Officer! Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers? Do you have experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable? We are looking for an Accounts Officer to join our small administrative team supporting this critical function for our business. 
About our business: At Unipod we specialize in the manufacturing of Expanded Polystyrene Materials. We are one of the largest suppliers of EPS servicing Melbourne's most reputable Civil Construction and Building companies.
About the Role: As an Accounts Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable and receivable transactions. You will work closely with our finance and operations teams to align our accounting practices with company policies. Your responsibilities will include setting up new supplier accounts, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, maintaining records, and managing relationships with suppliers and customers. This role is permanent part time. We are offering 25 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday, but we can be flexible on start and finish times to fit with your lifestyle or family commitments.
Key Responsibilities: Set up new supplier accounts and ensure accurate documentation.Process supplier invoices, match them with purchase orders, and handle weekly payment runs.Reconcile accounts payable transactions and manage supplier relationships.Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor receivables, and follow up on overdue accounts.Maintain accurate financial records and assist with internal and external audits.Run monthly reports, handle accruals, and manage aging reports for accounts.Learn and provide back up support to other office administrative roles such as the Office Manager and Customer Service team Qualifications: Certificate III in Business (Accounts Administration) or equivalent.Experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or small business.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and customer service focus.Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, customers, and team members.Why Join Us?
