Role
The Accounts Officer is responsible for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions as well as other administrative duties.
Duties include but not limited to
AP Processing
AP Analysis
AR Receipting and maintenance of AR Debtors Ledger
AR Analysis and reporting
AP Accruals
Statement Reconciliations
Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience
AR/AP experience
Problem solving skills
Adaptable and able to use initiative

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong customer focus for both internal and external customers
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong commitment to process improvement
Experience in accounting, purchasing and reporting systems
Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
An ability to work effectively within a small team and a proactive approach to assisting the team to cover fluctuations in workloads when required
