Our locally owned & operated family business has been servicing the Bendigo region for over 140 years. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Accounts Officer to join our finance team and support the continued growth of the business.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position presents an opportunity for accountability across a broad range of responsibilities within both the Accounts Payable and Receivable areas.
You will receive full training on the systems, processes, and procedures from an experienced team who have been with the business a long time. Joining our team means diving into a supportive environment where your expertise matters.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
Accounts Receivable – prepare and reconcile daily banking and customer account receipts and debtor management. Accounts Payable – prepare supplier payment, match invoices/credits to delivery dockets and claims. Cash Handling – collate and count cash, prepare bank deposits etc. General Administration – answering the phone, petty cash processing, and ordering stationery etc. You will have:
Experience in a similar Accounts role Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and Outlook. Ability to effectively manage priorities.
