Accounts Officer

Andrew Peace Wines is a large family-owned winery and agriculture business with a focus on exports. Located in Piangil (North Western Victoria), our close-knit Finance Team resides in our Bendigo office. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounts Officer to take ownership of our busy Accounts Payable department. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role has room for growth into Accounts Receivable and beyond for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier invoices and reviewing for accuracy and authorization to pay. Purchase order receipt entry, verification, and processing. Preparation of supplier payment runs for approval. Setting up and maintaining suppliers in the accounting system. Processing credit applications and handling creditor inquiries. Ensuring accurate adherence to the Chart of Accounts when conducting financial tasks. Completion of both monthly and ad-hoc reporting. Providing other assistance as required. This position requires:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role. Ability to effectively communicate and build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage and prioritize creditors within a seasonal cashflow. An aptitude for working within a team environment both remote and in-office. Desirable but not essential attributes:
