Opportunities for career growth Free on-site parking Staff amenities & discounted staff lunch Position Profile As a critical accounting team member, the Accounts Officer is to assist the Group Finance Manager in the overall accounting and payroll functions of the Accounting Department and other ad hoc admin duties as assigned. This role is well suited to an experienced Accounts Officer who is willing to learn and grow, and is looking to work in a close-knit and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities Full day-to-day accounting duties Full payroll and related duties Month-end procedures Assisting in financial reporting & statutory compliance Ad hoc admin tasks and projects/events as required. Education, Experience & Skills Required Accounting: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years proven experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role in Australia. Experience in MYOB or similar accounting software. Basic knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Studying towards CPA or CA qualification is desirable, but not essential. Payroll: 2+ years payroll experience in Australia. Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, including taxation, superannuation, terms, and leave. HR experience and/or educational background is a plus. Other Criteria: Full working rights in Australia. Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin Chinese. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and under pressure. A strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong multitasking and time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Adaptability to changes in the business environment and willingness to take on new challenges.
