Accounts Officer - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified Position We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The Accounts Officer will work closely with the Finance Manager and other Senior Managers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and presentation of accounts payable and receivable, including RCTIs. Reconciliation of financial accounts. Processing payroll and salary packaging within agreed timeframes. Maintaining accurate records of staff entitlements, including Personnel Files. Supporting end-of-month financial processes, reporting, and journaling. Providing other executive administration support as required. Qualifications:
Experience in accounting or finance is desirable. Strong knowledge of accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
