Working closely with the Finance Manager they are seeking to appoint a detail oriented and professional Accounts Officer to assist with the accounts payable processing, accounts receivable processing and payroll.
This is a 12-month maternity cover, so if you're an enthusiastic Accounts Officer looking to make a difference in the not-for-profit space, this is the role for you!
The Role You will report to the Finance Manager and some typical duties will involve: Payroll Process fortnightly payroll from system including timesheet policing through to final payment in a timely manner Facilitate/ manage changes in payroll system as required Payables Process approved invoices, volunteer expense claims and non-vendor payment requests Raise payment file proposals fortnightly (or as required) Review vendor statements and investigate anomalies and resolve vendor queries Banking Reconcile bank account balances daily Issue credit card statements to cardholders Receivables Generate sales invoices Follow up overdue payments Allocate revenue from bank transactions Your Profile To be successful you will have proven experience in a collaborative environment with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts.
