LB Group, a top 75 Accountancy firm, are looking to recruit a qualified accounts manager to join our growing accounts team based at our Ipswich Office.Working to deliver a suite of services to a range of clients, this opportunity would suit an individual who is looking to progress their career, work closely with senior management and be responsible for a diverse client portfolio.
This role will suit an accounts manager with practice experience, that has good diligence and enjoys interacting and building relationships across a wide range of businesses, while project managing several different assignments. A strong tax awareness is required, both from a computational and advisory perspective, covering personal and corporate taxes.
Key Responsibilities:· Overseeing and taking responsibility of a portfolio of clients to ensure compliance for tax and accounting purposes.
· Be the first point of contact for your clients, working closely with the designated partner.
· Supervising team members and managing workflow through the office.
· Collaborative working with other departments within our group.
· Review of compliance work including year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns and personal/company tax returns.
· Assisting clients with queries and advising clients where necessary.
· Assisting Directors with ad hoc projects.
· Proactively building a network of professional contacts.
