Accounts & Logistics Officer ( Part-Time)

Specialist design org.with global clients eg Coca Cola, Asahi, Super Retail $80,000 + super ( pro rated for 3 days) Great supportive team + WFH flexibility Do you possess solid bookkeeping skills and have had some exposure to either a logistics business and / or China based operations?Keen to join a well-established based business who design & manufacture products for many of the country's largest brands?(Asahi, Metagenics, Coca Cola, Super Retail group).If so and you are looking for approximately 24 hours / week, please read on.Our client has a reputation for providing innovative design solutions for major household names.They manufacture mostly overseas  (predominantly China) and deliver a high quality product on time, due to their strong internal collaborative culture, attention to detail and a sense of urgency.They have a loyal and growing customer base, a strong pipeline of new projects and are looking to recruit a savvy professional who will be given training in all aspects of the organisation.Some key tasks include : Invoicing Raising Purchase Orders Payments to suppliers Maintaining and updating work in progress reports Working with external freight and 3PL organisations Maintaining regular contact with key suppliers (predominantly in China) Provide weekly updates on: Debtors Creditors Balance sheet Profit & Loss Work in progress You ideally will hold a degree or Cert 1V in bookkeeping  studies and have had some exposure to shipping or  logistics, or genuine interest in this area.You are comfortable with basic bookkeeping and ideally have used XERO.On a personal level you are proactive, motivated, and well suited to small business where no task is too big or too small.Prior exposure to import/ export/ supply chain and the ability to speak Chinese with external suppliers is also highly desirable.In return you will be offered a career path, hands on daily mentoring and guidance by the MD and work in a close knit supportive team.Please contact online or call Jim Siganto for more details - 0404771866
