This is a full-time or part-time (min 30 hours ) Accounts Clerk position within the dynamic and growing Prydes Confectionery team based in Knoxfield, Victoria. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective payroll, accounts and administration support
What you'll be doing Daily Time sheet processing within Finger Tech time and attendance softwareEnsuring timesheets, leave requests, payroll changes, staff records and other related material are completed prior to commencement of processing the fortnightly payroll AP data entry, payment approval and reconciliations Liaise with our outsourced finance team, accounts officers and suppliers regarding purchases, financial records, and accounts.Verify purchases and query invoice items from internal and external stakeholders Assist the Finance officer with daily administration tasks including but not limited to: Payroll administration, and reporting, Managing appointments, schedules, meetings, travel arrangements and Reception cover. What we're looking for Relevant accounting or Administration qualification (e.g. Certificate IV in Accounting) advantageous.1-2 years of experience in an accounts clerk or similar role, ideally within the manufacturing or FMCG industryStrong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in using accounting software (e.g. MYOB or Xero) highly regarded.Ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and operate effectively in a team environmentKnowledge and understanding of Current Awards and their operation. (Specifically, Clerks Award, Food Beverage & Tobacco Award & the Manufacturing and Associated Industries & Occupations Award)What we offer
