We are seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team at Nextra Cairns Central in Cairns, QLD. This full-time role will be responsible for maintaining our financial records and supporting the wider business operations.
What you'll be doing Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate mannerReconciling bank statements and general ledger accountsPreparing and issuing invoices and statements to customersAssisting with month-end and year-end reporting requirementsProviding administrative support to the finance team as neededEnsuring compliance with financial policies and proceduresWhat we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience as an Accounts Clerk or similar financial administrative roleAQF Certificate II or III in relevant qualificationStrong numeracy and attention to detail skillsProficiency in using accounting software, such as MYOB or XeroExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work well in a team and independentlyKnowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirementsWhat we offer At Nextra Cairns Central, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment for our employees.
